Corameo
Corameo, from the Latin for “my heart”.
Three things in one house: a mirror to get to know yourself, a way to find someone who truly fits you, and a test for those already together. You choose where to begin.
Start at question one
A quarter of an hour on the sofa or a whole evening. The list remembers exactly where you were.
One question, right now
No account needed. Answer this one and you will see how this place works.
I love sharing the small things of my day
Your answer travels with you to your account. If you don't create one, it stays in your own browser and nowhere else.
Who is this for?
This week's question
One question from the list, open to everyone. Read it, or vote anonymously.
It clicks, and then there turns out to be too little underneath
You have probably been there. There is something straight away, you write back and forth happily, you meet up and it is pleasant. And a few weeks later there turns out to be too little of a foundation. Or the other way round: it clicked fine, until it turned out the two of you were looking for completely different things.
Usually nobody did anything wrong. You simply did not yet know the most important things about each other, and those rarely come up over a first cup of coffee. That is where Corameo begins: not with a photo, but with the questions whose answers will still matter a year from now.
No photos. No small talk. Who you are.
Most encounters start with a photo and an opening line. This one starts with you. Corameo is a questionnaire about life, closeness and, when you're ready for it, what comes after. One question per screen, at your own pace, with the occasional wink. There is no wrong answer, "prefer not to say" counts fully everywhere, and everything may be different tomorrow.
As you fill things in, a picture quietly grows of what your answers say about you. A mirror, not a verdict. And you decide whether you recognise yourself in it.
The pool searches on who you are
If you want to be found, the match pool compares your profile anonymously with others: no name, no photo, only what truly matters. Only when you both say yes to an introduction do you see who the other is.
Then the best part begins: the pressure cooker. You each fill in your own list, and with every section you both finish, a little door opens: where you align, where you gently differ, and what's still to discover. Along the way: a guessing game, a small daily reveal, personal letters about what your answers say about you, and for those who carry on together, talk cards for real evenings. And a booklet to keep.
Already found each other? This is where it truly begins.
Corameo is just as much (perhaps especially) for those already together. After years under one roof you think you know each other, and yet: when did you last ask a question you didn't already know the answer to? You each fill in your own list, and with every section you both finish, a little door opens: where you align, where you gently differ, and what there is still to discover after all this time.
The guessing game has you predict your partner's answers, and it surprises you more often than you'd think. The talk cards turn an ordinary weekday evening into a conversation that lingers, about subjects that do not come up by themselves in everyday talk, at your own pace. And at the end there is a booklet about the two of you, to keep.
Your story stays yours
Your answers are visible to you and to the person you explicitly share them with, never to anyone else. The site is built for exactly that: an encrypted connection, signing in with an extra code by text message, and a backup every night. The pool compares only an overall picture, never a single answer. Stopping is always allowed, and so is erasing everything: immediately, yourself, no questions asked. Read exactly how that works.
Prefer the full story? The privacy statement sets out, per kind of data, what we keep, why, for how long and who can see it; the terms say what you may expect from us and what we ask of you.
See in three minutes what drives you
Swiping wears off. Meeting someone doesn't.
More and more people are tired of the endless scrolling. Dating apps are losing ground, and what is growing is meeting for real: a games night, a walk, a table of strangers who don't stay strangers. That makes sense to us. A photo says something about a face, not about a person.
Corameo is built on that other idea. You don't start here with a photo but with questions that matter: what you are looking for, what warms you, what you need to feel at home with someone. No scores, no contest, no endless supply. You build a house of answers at your own pace, and only where there is real kinship does a door open.
Whoever comes in here doesn't come to browse. You come to be found for who you are.
